Do I need to create an account to read the guides?
No account needed. Every guide on the site is free and open. You can read the bra style index, the fit guide, the fabric reference, and all the seasonal edits without signing up for anything. The only thing that requires an email address is the newsletter, and that is optional.
How often is the size conversion table updated?
The table is checked against brand size charts twice a year, usually in March and September, when most brands update their sizing documentation. If a specific brand changes its sizing between those checks and a reader flags it, the entry is updated within a week. Each entry shows the date it was last verified.
Can I use the guides to help someone else find their size?
Yes. The fit guide is written to be usable by the person wearing the garment or by someone helping them. It does not assume the reader is shopping for themselves. The measuring instructions are written to work whether you are measuring yourself or another person.
Are the trend edits relevant outside Japan?
Mostly yes. The trend edits draw from collections that circulate internationally, so the style observations apply broadly. The sizing and retail notes in each edition do lean toward what is available in Japan, so those specific sections may be less useful if you are shopping in a different market.
How do I know if a guide has been updated since I last read it?
Each guide shows a 'last updated' date at the top of the page. If the content changes in a meaningful way, the date changes and a short note at the top explains what was revised. Minor corrections like typos do not trigger a date change.
Is there a guide for underwear, not just bras?
The underwear-for-outerwear guide covers brief, thong, and short styles in the context of what works under specific clothing. A standalone underwear reference covering cuts, fabrics, and sizing is in progress and expected to publish in early 2027.
